El Árbol Más Grande del Mundo Está en Oaxaca!

The Thickest Tree in The World is in Oaxaca!

With a circumference of 58 meters (~190 ft) and a diameter of 14.05 meters (~46 ft), el Árbol del Tule is said to be the thickest tree in the world. A montezuma cypress that is more than 2,000 years old and 42 meters (~138 ft) high!

In the past people thought the tree was made up of multiple trees, however, DNA research proves that it is indeed a single tree.

You can find this gigant in the community of Santa María del Tule (hence the name Árbol del Tule or "tree of Tule) in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico, approximately 20 minutes from Oaxaca City.

Up until this date the tree keeps on growing!
